Sweet Mimosa was restored with care, preserving the character of the original 1952 house while making it work beautifully for modern living.

The open-concept kitchen flows into the dining and living spaces, with original hardwood floors, natural light, and room to cook, gather, or work from home.

The private primary suite includes a king bed, soaking tub, separate walk-in shower, and two closets. A second queen bedroom with access to its own full bathroom offers privacy for guests or roommates.

A HOUSE WITH HISTORY

THE STORY OF SWEET MIMOSA.

Sweet Mimosa has been part of our family story since 1952, when Billy and Polly Sanders made this house their home and raised their two boys here.

Years later, their grandson Philip and his wife, Anna, took ownership of the house and restored it—honoring its original character while bringing new life and love into the space.

Throughout the home, you'll find little pieces of its story: an original photograph of the house near the entry, Polly sitting in her favorite "sun spot" in the living room, and a photograph of the ship Billy served aboard as a Navy veteran of World War II.

Today, Philip and I live just a few miles away, raising our three children and continuing to care for this special piece of our family’s history.

We’re grateful to share Sweet Mimosa with you and hope that, for however long you’re here, it feels a little like home.
